Welcome baby Jasmine! Jasmine looks most like her mama. She is the bigger of the gray girls and looks after them like a great big sister. She is also the most protective of the bunch. She cuddles and comforts her siblings when they become upset and has a peaceful, loving nature.
1/12/2017 CUTENESS OVERLOAD ALERT!
Sister beauties Ariel & Jasmine are just precious! Look at those faces! While the girls looks similar, these two couldn't be more different in personality. Ariel is just like her mommy Darcy: smart, playful, energetic, loving, happy-go-lucky and loves nothing more than to play with her pooch friends. Jasmine aka Jazzie loves to cuddle, give out kisses to all the doggies and people within licking distance and follow her humans around like a tiny little adorable shadow. Jasmine is super playful with her K9 foster brothers and sisters as well, but tuckers out after a few minutes and likes to climb up on the couch or bed and curl up with her people. Ariel is also very submissive with other dogs and makes instant friendships! Ariel would be the perfect puppy for a family who has dogs already or even cats. This entire litter has exceptional temperaments, just like their playful, fun-loving mamma Darcy (who continues to be overlooked while her babies steal the spotlight). Ariel will no doubt look more like mamma as an adult too! Darcy is about 70lbs solid but only average height (about 2 ft tall) and very stalky. Darcy has no doubt passed down her gorgeous, muscular, stalky and bow-legged build to all of her babies and they couldn't be any cuter!
1/21/2017 PUPPY PERFECTION! Our baby girl Jasmine is the PERFECT puppy. She is confident, affectionate, social and such a smarty pants. For more info on our gorgeous gal, go fill out an adoption application.
3/18/2017 **3/18/2017 UPDATE ON JASMINE
We took Jasmine to our friends over at Franklin Ranch Vet Hospital yesterday and the diagnosis was simple, she needed many more tests. We knew this would be the case but we didn't want to play "vet", we wanted to hear it from the vet themselves. Anyway, long story short, here is a breakdown of the recommendations and costs associated with what out little princess needs. Doctor Strasser (the best Vet on the face of the planet in our opinion) is hopeful that it could be an insect bite of some sort or something minor that has festered and become infected in her chest since it is not under the muscle BUT of course, he always recommends the additional testing to be absolutely sure. Franklin Ranch has been very kind and allowed us to have our supporters call them directly and make a donation towards care over the phone but please, if you are kind enough to make a donation under $50, then please do so through our paypal. If you are lucky enough to be able to make a donation for $50 or more (bless all of your hearts no matter what the amount!!!!! every penny counts, it really does!!!), then please be so kind as to call the Hospital and make it right over the phone on to our account. We are simply trying not to burden the office staff with call after call to process credit cards over the phone for amounts that can easily be accumulated through our paypal and we can then simply transfer over to the hospital in one transaction.
These folks already help us so much, and they have been so accommodating to us over the years, we just want to make sure we never take advantage of their time and incredible generosity. So please, if you can help PCS with a donation of $50 + please do call Franklin Ranch 916-683-4000 and put it on the books, otherwise, please use our paypal link and thank you, truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Unfortunately we look around and we see other rescues struggling as well. The number of dogs who need us far surpasses our bandwidth, pocket books, emotional strength, physical strength, and faith in humanity...BUT we fight on. With every struggle, we witness a miracle and it's times like these that we call on those who damn near blindly support us. You nearly blindly have faith in our mission. You wholeheartedly stand tall with us and lend your hand so we can make it over the next hurdle. From the bottom of our hearts and souls, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
Please stay tuned for more updates to come!!!

ATTENTION FOLKS PUPPY JASMINE NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Sadly the past few days our sweet, silly, adorable puppy Jasmine (we've had her since birth! She was part of the Disney litter) hasn't been feeling like herself. Just last week she was running in the park, playing with Roxy!! Then, since Monday, she hasn't been feeling well and acting very lethargic. We took her temp, no temp. She is eating. She is drinking. She is going potty as usual. BUT after each of these, she goes right to sleep. She sleeps ALL day long. This is not normal for our playful little pup... so what could it be, we wondered.... we continued to watch her closely. She doesn't want to play. She doesn't want to even walk. So we pick her up to take her potty now, she screamed! She's in great pain...but what is it?!??? THEN TODAY... we noticed a lump on her chest. A big mass of some sort. It came out of nowhere and it seems to be getting bigger as the day goes on. She didn't injure herself. She didn't fall or anything like that. This is a large mass on our poor puppies chest.... we are VERY concerned. Could it be cancerous?! Could it be her ribs? Her heart?? We don't know. We're terrified. All we know is she is not acting right and she is in pain...
Here is where you come in... in the past 2 weeks we have had 3 visits to Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic in the middle of the night for emergency care. All 3 visits included emergency room charges, anesthesia and surgeries, all for 3 different dogs for 3 different accidents. We are tapped out financially, so much that we couldn't have 2 dogs spayed and neutered this week because we didn't have the money (we have 2 dogs fixed every week!) These were unexpected costs and while we basically always operate in the red..this was alot, even for us. There is no telling what will happen next...and it always does. A dog gets hurt. Two dogs have a kerfuffle. We pull the sweet senior dog with a heart murmur, 7 broken teeth that need pulling and demodex. Just when we are in a good place and feeling stable, a hurricane of accident after accident hits. And now more than ever, we can't wait to have Jasmine seen. There's just too much at risk. She is just a baby, she is in excruciating pain, and whatever this mass is....it needs medical attention ASAP. Our hope is that through your generosity we can raise the money needed to get Jasmine in to FRANKLIN Ranch Vet Hospital in Elk Grove to be seen and have x-rays ASAP! Sunday?? Monday?? As soon as physically possible. PLEASE consider helping our sweet baby girl, she is such a special pup and we hate to see her like this....
If anyone out there finds themselves in a position to sponsor her vet visit and care, we can arrange to have you pay the vet directly over the phone. But please make sure you're able to do this so we don't find ourselves in a bind.... we would make arrangements to have you deal directly with the vets office so you know exactly what's being done. If you cannot sponsor her entire care, please consider donating to our PayPal account below or at pitcrew.org. There is also a DONATE button on our Facebook page.
Thank you for all your support guys!! We hope to find out whatever this is and get her all the care she needs....we love her dearly. She's one of a kind.
**Jasmine is no longer adoptable until further notice 😥**
4/11/2017 **FOSTER UPDATE**Our girl Jasmine is such a goof! She is so uncoordinated and un-athletic but boy is she lovable!! This darling girl is still looking for that forever home to be lucky enough to call her theirs!
4/22/2017 **Foster Update**Babs & Jasmine enjoying some inside play time on a rainy day. These two are too cute together! Babs always trips when she gets the zoomies and Jasmine isn't much more coordinated! 😂
4/22/2017 FOSTER UPDATE:
Jasmine is the last of her litter not adopted yet, but you know what they say, save the best for last😍
Jasmine is 6 months now and we've had her since birth! Her nickname is platypus because her paws flop outward when she attempt to run. She is by far the most uncoordinated dog we've ever had! In a good way😝Jasmine is a shorty with a long body and short little legs. She is absolutely adorable! She gets along great with all dogs but she's also more of a cuddler then she is adventurous or athletic. If it's a couch potato, loving snuggle bug you're looking for, she's your puppy! Jasmine is fully crate trained, house broken and does great on leash (just a little slower than most, ha!). She's an amazing puppy and she steals everyone's hearts. Jasmine is incredibly sweet and affectionate and she would be an AWESOME family dog, especially with small children or other pets. Jasmine is a true princess and she deserves the absolute best!
You can meet Jasmine at the Adoption Extravaganza at Pet Food Express Roseville April 29th, details in the event created on our FB page.
